RM Sonica ESL has been created with the teacher in mind Sonica Spanish includes fantastic support for the teacher, this makes it ideal for teachers with only basic or no grasp of ESL teaching. It includes:


• Teacher support notes –
one for each 12 units. These guide you through the concepts taught in the unit and they detail attainment targets and extension activities for the whole group or individuals.

• Audio/visual dictionary
this includes over 1000 Spanish to English (and vice-versa) words spoken by English speakers. Simple and easy to use, you can look up the word by way of Unit or alphabetically and when you select it you can see and hear it pronounced.

• IT Know How documents
guidance to help you get the most out of RM Sonica ESL. Includes notes on working with accents on the PC, using an interactive whiteboard, setting up a dance mat etc

• Assessment
End of unit assessment activities – providing auto-marked summative and formative assessments for a range of question types: drag and drop, fill the gap, multiple selection, multiple choice and sequencing.
Easily monitor and report on the progress of your class and individual students. The assessments are provided in a format that allows you to print an overview of class progress at the click of a button as groups and students can be pulled in at a click of a button using the CSV import facilities.
A useful mark book tool allows student’s results from the summative tests to be recorded and analyzed through integrated reports, including: student, test, question and diagnostic reports.
